When my client reached out for help planning her daughter’s upcoming 12th birthday with a LoveShackFancy theme, I was immediately excited and ready to get started. I knew this party had to be heavy in pink, florals, bows, and all things girly. We put together a beautiful picnic setup with floral plates and tablecloths, pink cutlery, taper candles, and several floral arrangements. The girls enjoyed personal charcuterie boxes with a touch of tea party food vibes topped with big floral bows and customized decorated sugar cookies to match the theme.

They spent time on the pastel pink bounce house with featured pink balloons and a marquee number 12, created friendship bracelets with pastel beads, letters, and pink charms, and designed their very own Stoney Clover dupe bags with so many patch options to choose from. Once the bags were customized with letters, numbers, shapes, and symbols, the girls got to create their own goody bags with gel pens, heart sunglasses, hair clips, brushes, trendy hair ties, chapsticks, and silly straws. We loved coming up with this fun activity that allowed the girls to be creative together and have something to take home to remember the party by!

But what's a party without a little stress? The morning of the event, my hired photographer had an emergency and had to cancel. I immediately called Erica from Rent Boho Babes, who was already coming to set up the balloons and picnic table, and asked if she could bring her camera. Having friends in the industry is a lifesaver! She stepped right in, helped me with finishing touches, and took several photos to document the day.

The girls had an unforgettable experience, and the photos captured the joy and creativity that filled the event. I am truly grateful to my client who allowed me to play a part in just a joyous day for their family. I truly love event planning and this party was one for the books (or in this case, blog!)
