Carson’s First Rodeo!

A Rootin' Tootin' First Birthday Celebration!

Several months before her son Carson’s first birthday, our client Katie reached out to us for help planning his “First Rodeo.” Knowing she’d be far along in her pregnancy by the time his big day arrived, Katie wanted to ensure everything was expertly handled so she could relax and enjoy the celebration without the stress of last-minute setup.

When the day of the party finally came, we arrived bright and early to begin transforming the backyard into a fun, Western-themed celebration. As we set up, we struck up a conversation with Katie and her husband—and to our surprise, we discovered we had all gone to the same high school! Although we were a few years apart, we shared several mutual friends, which made the experience of working together even more special. It was so much fun reminiscing and catching up while putting the finishing touches on the party.

Carson’s First Rodeo turned out to be the most adorable backyard bash! The highlight for the little ones was a massive soft play area and a ball pit bounce house combo that kept them entertained for hours. For the tiny cowboys and cowgirls, we set up a pint-sized kids' table, perfectly decorated to match the Western theme with charming details.

While the kids played, guests were treated to delicious fare from an onsite taco cart, and for a sweet touch, beautifully decorated Western-themed cookies added an extra bit of flair to the dessert table.

This “First Rodeo” was full of fun, food, and fantastic memories, and we’re so happy to have been part of Carson’s special day!
